Clermont #518 , Gem City wood burning stove..   Once used in our 1850 home..   Has apron around middle for resting your feet.  Flat cook top can be used for heating a
kettle, etc on top, by lifting off the fancy finial which covers it..

Front
door to firepit, and finial have had rust cleaned off each, and are restored.

This
stove would be more of an attractive conversation piece in your home, rather
than being actually used.  Some of
the metal pieces need repair, such as the fire pit, or replacing if put in actual use in a home.

6181 Cast Iron 1976 Danish Morso Wood Heat Stove and Fireplace

Description

A Cast Iron 1976 Danish Morso Wood Heat Stove and Fireplace. This Olive Green stove and fireplace combination would make a great design statement in any room whether mid century or traditional. The stove is made of cast iron with a translucent porcelain finish. It is in great condition and apparently it was never used. Accompanying the stove is the Morso Wood Heat Handbook. In the introduction it states “A Morso stove will provide insurance and a degree of independence no other household purchase can, It is also comforting to know that in an emergency this warm dependable friend is ready to give you the heat necessary to cook your food, heat your water and warm your body and spirit.” Dimensions: 29 1/2″ wide x 22 3/4″ deep x 41 3/4″ high. Interior Dimensions: 17 1/2″ deep x 22 3/4″ w x 12″ to top of brick or (actual opening) 13 1/4″ high or inside to top of stove 27″ high total

 Note that the doors on the 1125 may be removed and replaced easily due to the simple thought of making the lower door pins longer. Venting of smoke is through a collar containing its own spring loaded damper. The colored vitreous enamel gives a lasting protection to the exterior and is fired at approximately 1400 degrees Fahrenheit and is a permanent finish which does not require stove polish, is easy to keep clean and will never rust. Most times this means years of previous use, creating expected patina….. finish wear to edges and corners, minor nicks, stains, and scratches, old repairs, fading and tone variation in the finish from sun, cleaning, waxing, and natural elements in the air. We always do our best to portray the true appearance of the piece thru photographs and descriptive text, showing anything one might find distracting.

All items can be previewed in our shop near Adamstown, PA. Located just 2 miles from exit 286 of the PA Turnpike; 35 minutes west of King Of Prussia, 2.5 hours from NYC, 2.5 from Washington DC, and 1.5 from Baltimore. We are only open on Sundays 10AM to 4PM. We can accommodate other times by appointment ONLY.

Shipping and Handling

ALL shipping arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer. However, we will assist in obtaining quotes from one of several shippers we are familiar with. You are welcome to use any shipper or pickup item or items yourself from our store. You MUST schedule an appointment prior to day of pickup. All shipping responsibilities are between the shipper and the buyer, insurance, packing, and scheduling. Remember, shipping is third party, so any issues of damage or delays are beyond our control and responsibility. We are open one day a week, Sunday 10AM to 4PM, other days by appointment.

With prior arrangement we can store items for up to 60 days. After that $50 per month storage fee will be incurred.

Return Policy

Returns within 3 days of receiving item. Meaning that you notify seller at AltFurn@aol.com and verified hiring of shipper for the return. The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs, delivery and return. Upon return of item in same condition as it left our location. We will issue a refund of the purchase price less 5% restocking fee. We give accurate descriptions thru text and images. We want our customers to be satisfied with their purchases…..SO PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE BIDDING, if you have any questions, we would be glad to send any additional images or information.

Beckwiths Air-Tight Wood Burning StoveYou are viewing a vintage Beckwiths Air-Tight wood burning stove.  It is marked I18 just below the Beckwiths logo. This particular piece is in decent shape although it has been painted.  Please note that the original top piece and what I presume the ash cleanout piece have been replaced with simple flat and round steel pieces.  I’m guessing that they were broken in the past.  While I know it detracts from the stove’s value, there is no reason that this can’t be used to heat a garage or shop… Or perhaps even be used as a parts for a more complete stove restoration.  Please see the pictures and/or write to me for more details.Please note that this stove is a piece of the artifacts collection owned by the Franklin Grove Area Historical Society and that the proceeds from this sale will benefit the operation of the organization’s property known as Chaplin Creek Village (www.chaplincreek.com).As far as shipping goes… I’m willing to work with you… But something this big will be expensive to ship.  I’d prefer that you either pick the unit up at my house or make arrangements to meet somewhere convenient to hand it off.  I do have some rather large cartons and would be willing to break the stove down… pack it and ship it to you.  However, I would expect you to enquire first and agree to a shipping charge as appropriate.  Please contact me for more details.I’m very easy to do business with… If for some reason you are not pleased with the purchase, you are welcome to say “No Thanks” when  you come to pick it up or return it to me if shipped… as long as you pay the return shipping fees and I am notified within three days of you receiving the shipment.  I do expect it to be returned in packaging similar to what it was sent and I do expect that there will be no damage.Thanks for viewing my auction! This antique cook stove is full function and completely restored to the beauty it once was. All the accents have been professionally renickeled. The entire stove has been wire wheeled, sandblasted and high heat painted, then reassembled with new nuts and screws.  This antique stove will easily last another 100 years of cooking and baking.

This is a Wood Burning EARTH STOVE Cleaned and refinished with stove black, all the seal are great, a couple fire bricks have cracks but not bad. it measures 30” wide 28” deep and 33” tall.. the stack is 5” Also has door screen to place in the front to see the fire. you remove the door and place the screen in its place any questions please ask. This is a NICE  Round oak #18 1896 model. It is approx. 46 inches tall to the top of the swing top. 24 wide at the footrail.. Very clean and crisp castings. Very little pitting. The jacket has been welded at the crease on the right side of stove. It is SOLID. Very good job done. The top of the stove on the back is missing the draft vent slider. The one on it was broken. The grate is also missing one grate. Totaly solid. This is a nice clean stove. I assume no liability if  used .  NOTE: I WILL PART THIS STOVE OUT IF NOT SOLD THIS  LISTING.. A GOOD HEATER. Ready to use.  I’m not sure but I think this is a handle for lifting the plates off a old wood cook stove.  If not it is a interesting piece.  The metal handle has a diamond cut decoration.  Shipping and handling will be $6.95 within the continental U.S.
